Dynamo Sprout Mixes

Ideal for Cockatiels, Conures, Amazons, Cockatoos and Macaws. This mix is a blend of fast sprouting small to medium sized organic seeds and grains with a few slower sprouters included for crunch value. This "wet seed mix" is intended to be an easy & quick way to get the benefits of sprouted foods. Since sprouted seeds are at their maximum nutritional value at the very beginning of the sprouting process, this mix offers superb nutritional content when fed as directed. Reducing "open air sprouting time" also inhibits growth of bacteria and mold. This mix must not be fed without overnight soaking, cooking or full sprouting.

Preparation:

1. Rinse in clean cold water
2. Soak overnight (12-16 hours) in container with triple the amount of water as seed
3. Rinse and feed.

Mini Mix

This is a small bird mix of fast sprouting small sized organic seeds, with a few slower sprouters included for crunch value. (Since most larger birds -- especially cockatoos and african greys -- enjoy this mix as well, it can be added before soaking to our other soak and sprout mixes.) This "wet seed mix" is intended to be an easy & quick way to get the benefits of sprouted foods. Since sprouted seeds are at their maximum nutritional value at the very beginning of the sprouting process, this mix offers superb nutritional content when fed as directed. Reducing "open air sprouting time" also inhibits growth of bacteria and mold. This mix can also be fed cooked or more fully sprouted.

Full Sprout Mix

This mix has a large variety of sproutable medium sized organic seeds and grains. When sprouted as directed, it will offer various seeds sprouting in a variety of stages for a wider variety of sprouting nutrition and taste. Sprouted seeds are at their maximum nutritional value at the very beginning of the sprouting process, and continued sprouting offers the ability to greatly alter taste while still offering superb nutritional content. This mix must not be fed without full sprouting as directed or cooking. Unsprouted or uncooked legumes cause gastric distress.

Preparation:

1. Rinse in clean cold pure water.

2. Soak 12 hours in container with triple the amount of water as seed.

3. Drain and rinse with clean cold pure water, drain and cover with breathable cloth or screen, best if kept in a dark place. Repeat step 3 at least twice per day until sprouts grow to desired length (about 36-48 hrs). Sprouts must be kept moist and simultaneously be allowed to breathe.

4. Refrigerate unfed portions.
